Youth in Action: Sports & Athletics

Forging a Generation of Leaders
The Crisis of Modern Youth: One of the greatest deficiencies of our time is the lack of a proper ideology. Many young people, unaware of their potential, are drifting aimlessly, falling prey to drug addiction, digital device dependency, and harmful cultural influences. Corrupt politics exploit them for violence, while distorted religious interpretations push them towards extremism. They are not told that they are representatives of Allah, with a profound duty to maintain peace and justice.
The Islamic View on Sports: Regrettably, some so-called ulama have declared all sports as haram. However, Islam encourages physical exercise. Hadiths indicate that Allah favors strong believers. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) himself organized and participated in sports competitions like wrestling, archery, and horse racing, only forbidding games that involve gambling or unhealthy competition. Emulating this example, this movement encourages active, outdoor sports.
A Legacy of Sporting Excellence: The founder of this movement was a national-level sportsman. Honorable Imam Hossain Mohammad Salim continued this legacy by founding the Pinnacle Sports Association and 55 sports organizations across the country. The Tawheed Kabaddi Team has succeeded in various national tournaments. Members also participate in self-defense sports like wushu and karate.
Conclusion: In conclusion, sports and physical activities are indispensable for shielding youth from negative influences and fostering an ideological renaissance. Under the leadership of Hossain Mohammad Salim, this initiative plays a vital role in enhancing the physical and mental well-being of the nation’s youth, nurturing qualities such as unity, discipline, leadership, and harmony, and guiding them back to the right path.
