Proposal to Establish Allah’s Command to End Injustice and Unrest
Dhaka, Bangladesh – Emam Hossain Mohammad Selim, the leader of the non-political movement Hezbbut Tawheed, has asserted that only Islam can truly guarantee human rights, freedom of speech, and absolute justice. He made these remarks during a high-level roundtable discussion with media professionals held at the Fars Hotel & Resorts in Purana Paltan, Dhaka.
The Global Crisis and the Failure of International Bodies
Addressing the current global situation, the Emam of Hezbut Tawheed observed that the world is witnessing a “monstrous festival” of human rights violations and the suppression of free speech.
“One Muslim nation after another is being subjected to forced wars. International organizations, including the United Nations, have utterly failed to remedy these injustices. They have been unable to protect even the most basic rights of Muslims in Palestine and Myanmar,” he stated.

Concerns Regarding Domestic Stability
Turning his attention to the context of Bangladesh, Emam Hossain Mohammad Selim highlighted a worrying rise in lawlessness. He noted that hundreds of “mob justice” incidents have occurred across the country over the last two years, driven by extremist and communal factions intent on creating anarchy.
The Call for Systemic Change
The Emam proposed a fundamental shift in the prevailing system, arguing that Islam has been unfairly portrayed as a source of fear.
- A Balanced System: He described Islam as a simple, balanced, and divine system of life provided by Allah.
- The Path to Peace: He emphasized that the only way to end the ongoing cycle of injustice and unrest is through the implementation of this divine system.
- Comprehensive Reform: He called for the establishment of Allah’s laws across all sectors, including the state, judiciary, military, and economy.
To achieve regional and global stability, he further proposed fostering unity among Muslim nations and increasing interfaith dialogue between different religious communities.
