Hezbut Tawheed Holds Public Rally in Kushtia

Call for National Unity to Establish Deen

Kushtia, 28 November — Hezbut Tawheed organized a day-long public rally in Kushtia titled “Call for National Unity to Establish Deen.” Addressing the gathering as chief guest, the organization’s top leader, Imam Hossain Mohammad Salim, urged the government, political parties, and the general public to adopt the life system prescribed by Allah in place of the existing man-made system.

In his speech, Imam Salim stated that the country’s ongoing crisis, corruption, and instability stem from the current man-made system of governance. He said that even after 54 years of independence, this system has failed to bring peace and has instead burdened the nation with massive debt. He also criticized the interest-based economic system and the inherited colonial judicial structure, stating that these have weakened the nation.

He emphasized that lasting peace can only be achieved by replacing the current system with the one given by Allah. According to him, under the existing system, even good people are often forced into corruption. He further called for a national referendum to determine whether people want to adopt Allah’s guidance to overcome the present crisis.

The event was chaired by Tanvir Ahmed, Amir of Khulna Division. Among the special guests were Khadija Khatun, Chief Advisor; Md. Nizam Uddin, General Secretary; Joint General Secretaries Mashirur Rahman, Dr. Mahbub Alam Mahfuz, Rufaida Panni, SM Samsul Huda, and Riyadul Hasan; Central Health Secretary Ummat Tijana Makhdooma Panni; and Women and Child Health Secretary Sultana Rizia, among others.

From early morning, thousands of participants from Kushtia and nearby districts joined the rally in processions despite the winter fog, filling the venue to capacity.
