Hezbut Tawheed Holds Workers’ Conference in Mymensingh

Call for strong unity to overcome crisis

Hezbut Tawheed organized a workers’ conference in Mymensingh titled “What Should Be Done to Address Security Threats in Bangladesh.” The event was held on Saturday, 24 May 2025, starting at 10 AM at Tarek Smriti Auditorium. It was a day-long program arranged by the district unit of Hezbut Tawheed.

The chief guest was Imam Hossain Mohammad Salim, the top leader of Hezbut Tawheed. The program was chaired by Enamul Haque Bappa, President of Mymensingh Division, and inaugurated by Rahmat Ullah Rana, Divisional General Secretary.

In his speech, Imam Salim said that the social and moral condition of the country is worsening day by day. Crimes such as theft, murder, corruption, false cases, and delays in the justice system are increasing. Although religious activities are growing, moral character is not improving. This shows that the problem is not religion, but the lack of proper implementation of Allah’s given way of life, Deenul Haq.

He further said that Allah has created human beings and also provided guidance for the right path. However, modern society is ignoring this guidance and following man-made systems, which has led to unrest, conflict, and violence. Even though people believe in Allah in their personal lives, they ignore His guidance in state affairs, which has increased suffering.

Speaking about the global situation, he said the world is now filled with war, conflict, and instability. Tensions are rising in South Asia, including Myanmar and India-Pakistan regions. In Palestine, children are dying from hunger, and the Rohingya people are displaced. He said the main reason behind these crises is the lack of unity among the Muslim Ummah. Muslims are divided into many separate states and focused on their own interests, so they fail to respond strongly when Muslims are oppressed anywhere.

Regarding Bangladesh, he warned that the country is also facing security risks. If a war situation arises, it could face a crisis like Gaza. To avoid such a disaster, people must move away from divisions and unite strongly under the guidance of Allah. He emphasized that only this kind of ideological leadership can ensure safety and stability for the nation.

Special guests at the event included Dr. Mahbub Alam Mahfuz, Amir of Dhaka Division; Bacchu Mia, President of Mymensingh District; Rozina Akter, Divisional Women’s Secretary; and Kajol Akter, District Women’s Secretary, among others.

From early morning, leaders and members of Hezbut Tawheed began arriving at the venue, creating a lively atmosphere. Thousands of participants attended the day-long program, including political figures, members of civil society, media representatives, and other distinguished guests.
