A seasonal fruit festival was organized by the Panni Zamindar Family at the historic Korotia Rajbari, celebrating Bengali heritage, mutual harmony, and social bonds. As a son-in-law of the Panni family, Hossain Mohammad Salim, the Imam of Hezbut Tawheed, hosted the guests in keeping with the family’s long-standing tradition of Bengali hospitality.
Speaking at the event, Imam Salim said that seasonal fruit festivals are an important part of Bengal’s traditional rural culture. Such gatherings not only bring joy but also strengthen family relationships, social connections, and mutual goodwill.
Members of the Panni Family, academics, local dignitaries, and people from different sections of the community attended the event. The festival venue was beautifully decorated with a variety of indigenous seasonal fruits, creating a joyful and welcoming atmosphere. The guests appreciated the initiative and expressed hope that such social and cultural activities would continue in the future.
